About the Event
Sista Strut is an inspiring race that aims to raise awareness about breast cancer among women of color and highlight community resources available for early detection and treatment. The event celebrates the resilience of survivors, their families, and friends while advocating for a cure. Organized by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes in Jacksonville, Florida, Sista Strut is committed to supporting local initiatives such as Sisters Network Northeast Florida, Inc., and The Pink Queen B Foundation through donations from race proceeds. This year’s event promises an empowering atmosphere that brings together individuals dedicated to making a positive impact. Participants can register for the 2026 edition between June 15th and October 2nd at $15 per individual or team member, with day-of registration costing $20 per person. Each registrant will receive a pink T-shirt designed specifically for this year’s event. Additionally, survivors will be awarded a special necklace as part of their recognition. Team entries are welcome, consisting of two or more members without any restrictions on size. However, each team member must register individually and pay the registration fee; there is no discount for entire teams. The race organizers only accept credit card payments online to ensure smooth processing, with an additional $3.50 per person handling fee. Sizes 3XL and larger may incur extra costs due to printing requirements. Team captains can create their groups during registration or use a dedicated “Create Team” button on the event page for easier management of team registrations.
