THE NEXT LOOP ENDURANCE SERIES | SHREVEPORT
October 10, 2026 | Eddie D. Jones Park | Shreveport, Louisiana
Your Endurance. No Limits. One More Loop.
The Next Loop Endurance Series is a different kind of trail running event. You don’t have to decide today how far you can go. Show up, run the trail, and find out.
THE NEXT LOOP ENDURANCE SERIES
The format is simple: one trail loop every hour.
Complete the loop, return to Race HQ, recover, refuel, and get ready to go again at the top of the next hour.
Run one loop. Run five. Run ten and reach 50K territory. Keep going as long as you want.
There is no DNF in The Next Loop. Every completed loop counts.
This format is designed for everyone from runners taking their first step into trail and endurance running to experienced ultrarunners looking for a new challenge.
You control your day. You control your distance.
THE NEXT 40M / 50M / 12-HOUR CHALLENGE
Want to keep moving instead of waiting for the next hourly start?
Take on our continuous endurance challenge on the same trail system.
Choose your goal and keep moving:
40 Miles | 50 Miles | 12 Hours
Run, walk, hike, adjust your pace, take a break when you need it, and keep moving forward.
This is endurance on your terms.
THE COURSE
The event takes place at Eddie D. Jones Park in Shreveport, Louisiana, on a trail course that brings runners back through our central Race HQ and aid station throughout the event.
We've refined the Shreveport course for October to create an even better loop experience — runnable, challenging enough to keep things interesting, and designed for a full day on the trails.
You'll never be hours away from your gear, food, crew, or support. Each return to Race HQ gives you an opportunity to refuel, reset, and decide what's next.
NEW TO TRAIL OR ULTRA RUNNING?
You're exactly who we want to see out there.
You don't need to be an ultrarunner to enter The Next Loop. You don't need to know how many miles you're capable of running.
Start with one loop.
Then decide whether you have another one in you.
You might surprise yourself.
Experienced trail and ultra runners will find plenty of opportunity to test their endurance, while newer runners can discover trail running without the pressure of committing to a traditional ultra-distance race.
ONE MORE LOOP.
Come spend the day with us at Eddie D. Jones Park and discover what happens when the finish line isn't a predetermined distance.
Run. Recover. Refuel. Reset.
Then ask yourself one question:
Do I have one more loop?
