The Phantom Run 2026

Experience the inaugural Autumn Ascend 2026 on November 14th in North Vancouver's breathtaking lower North Shore. The race begins at North Vancouver Town Square near Lonsdale Quay, winding through diverse landscapes that showcase nature’s fall splendor. Runners will traverse a mix of technical and non-technical terrains, including steep climbs and exhilarating descents.
Race morning promises mild temperatures around 5.5°C (12.9°F) with high humidity at about 87%, creating an invigorating yet comfortable environment for participants. The route offers panoramic views and challenging trails that will test even the most seasoned athletes. Three distance options are available: a 12km course, a 19km journey, or a full 25km run. Each path presents unique obstacles and scenic highlights to keep every runner engaged.
Aid stations dot the course at strategic points, ensuring runners stay hydrated throughout their journey. Post-race festivities include hearty soups and other treats served in the finish line area, adding to the memorable experience of this event. Early bird registration closes on October 14th with fees ranging from $90.90 for the 12km course up to $113.10 for the full 25km distance.
Bibs can be collected at the North Shore Community Centre between November 7th and 8th, from 10 AM to 6 PM; valid photo ID is required if you registered online or in-store. Participants must be aged 12 years or older and are encouraged to bring appropriate trail running gear for a safe and enjoyable experience.
