The Ramblers Run

The Ramblers Run returns to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario on Saturday, September 13th, 2026. This fitness-forward event is held at the scenic Palatine Hills Estate Winery, where families and runners of all ages can enjoy a day of movement, community, and celebration.
Race morning finds participants gathering in the vineyard setting, with the backdrop of lush green fields stretching out across the landscape. The air will be crisp and fresh, carrying the scent of grapevines and autumn leaves. Participants can expect to start their journey at 8:30 AM for registration, followed by a series of fun runs, walks, and races throughout the day.
This is year two for Ramblers Run, which has quickly become an integral part of the local community calendar. With over 250 participants expected this year, it’s clear that the event resonates deeply with both residents and visitors alike. The proceeds from the race benefit a scholarship fund supporting youth in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The course takes runners through the firm yet slightly soft vineyard trails, offering a mix of gentle paths and undulating terrain. Participants will start at Palatine Hills Estate Winery and wind their way around the property before completing the 5K timed run or enjoying the shorter family fun walk/run. Elevation changes are minimal but provide a pleasant challenge for runners.
Elevated areas in the course offer stunning views of the surrounding vineyards, while the winding paths ensure that no two runs feel identical. The winery itself will serve as an aid station and finish line, providing water stations along the route to keep participants hydrated throughout their journey.
