On Saturday, March 20, 2027, runners of all levels are invited to participate in the Rat Racers Trail Run, an off-road adventure through scenic trails that promise a memorable experience. The race offers three distances: a challenging yet accessible 50K (8:00 AM start), a moderate 20K (9:45 AM start), and a shorter but equally enjoyable 10K event (10:00 AM start). All participants will enjoy well-marked courses with mile markers, ensuring that they stay on track throughout their journey. Water stations are strategically placed along the route to keep runners hydrated as they traverse through lush landscapes without any significant hills. The event is professionally timed and awards medals to all 50K finishers. For those who cross the line in the top three positions within their five-year age groups, there will be additional recognition with medals on offer for these achievements. Top male and female runners across various categories will also receive special prizes. Registration fees vary based on distance and timing: - 10K: $30 (until January 10th), $40 (until March 10th), $45 thereafter. - 20K: $40 (until January 10th), $50 (until March 10th), $60 thereafter. - 50K: $55 (until January 10th), $65 (until March 10th), $75 thereafter. Discounts are available for past Rat Racers participants ($5 off) and military veterans, police officers, and firefighters ($10 off). At the registration booth, runners can purchase high-quality wearables such as "Rat Racer" cooler bags. All transactions must be made in cash only. Participants will also have the opportunity to make a small donation to Troopers Assisting Troops (http://troopersassistingtroops.org/), supporting their valuable work within communities.
