Immerse yourself in nature at Albion Hills Conservation Area for an unforgettable endurance challenge. This unique race offers 24-hour solo, relay, team, 12-hour, and 6-hour options, each designed to test your limits while enjoying the fall foliage and serene trails. The course features two distinct loops of 6.7 km each, weaving through a mix of single-track, double-track paths, roots, pine-needle surfaces, and hard-packed dirt. The terrain changes direction with every loop in a pattern that keeps runners engaged: clockwise on the first loop, counter-clockwise on the second, then repeating for subsequent loops. Solo participants must complete their laps at the top of each hour to stay eligible. In relay events, teams alternate running solo loops, accumulating total yards (laps) and breaking ties with fastest cumulative lap times. The 12-hour race offers a taste of endurance racing without full commitment, while the 6-hour option introduces runners to this unique format. Aid stations are conveniently located at the start/finish line, providing water, Skratch Labs electrolytes, and varied food options throughout the day. While no crew access or pacers are allowed on course, support teams can cheer from the corral area. The event promises a lively atmosphere with music and chatter during daylight hours, transitioning to a more subdued environment as night falls. Race kits can be picked up at the chalet in Albion Hills Conservation Area either Friday evening or Saturday morning before race start times. Located just 45-60 minutes north of Toronto, this conservation area offers miles of trails for non-racing family members and friends looking to explore on foot, bike, or hike. Camping is available nearby, providing an opportunity to extend your stay in the scenic surroundings. Join fellow runners, families, and enthusiasts as you celebrate perseverance and camaraderie at Albion Hills Conservation Area's endurance event. The schedule includes Friday evening registration, a pre-race meeting for all participants on Saturday morning, and concludes with celebratory finishes across various race categories over two days.
