THE WATERMOO Preride: Lower Course

Explore the challenging yet rewarding terrain of THE WATERMOO with our pre-ride event on July 19th. This 80-mile journey through Dexter and beyond offers cyclists an intimate look at some of the more demanding sections of the course, perfect for those preparing for race day or simply seeking a memorable ride.
The route is designed to provide both experienced riders and newcomers alike with an engaging experience. Two pace groups will be available to accommodate various skill levels, ensuring everyone can enjoy the ride at their own comfortable speed.
All participants are welcome—whether you’ve registered for THE WATERMOO or not. The event is no-drop, meaning every rider will complete the journey together. Rest stops and support points have been strategically placed along the course: bathrooms and water stations at Waterloo Headquarters (miles 24 and 66), Sharon Mills County Park (mile 44.5) with indoor restrooms and a water fountain, and Marathon Gas Station (mile 62).
Meet us early on Sunday, July 19th, at Dexter High School for the start of your adventure. The race begins promptly at 8:30 am from this location in Dexter, Michigan. Upon completion, you'll return to the same starting point.
Prepare yourself with all necessary equipment and supplies, including tools, hydration, and food. This pre-ride is not only a great way to familiarize yourself with the route but also an opportunity to meet fellow cyclists who share your passion for cycling.
