The swim leg begins in the open waters off Weymouth’s coast, providing athletes with stunning views and ensuring safety through dedicated support from lifeguards and rescue teams. Cyclists then take on fast-moving bike routes that wind through Dorset's rolling countryside, offering both scenic beauty and a challenging terrain. The run portion consists of multiple laps around a well-marked course, complete with regular aid stations to keep athletes fueled and hydrated.
Race headquarters are set up at Weymouth College (DT4 7SW), providing ample space for registration, equipment storage, and race-day logistics. Athletes can register on the morning of the event between 05:30 and 06:30 AM, collecting all necessary materials such as timing chips, swim caps, and bib numbers.
Start times are scheduled with the Classic distance beginning at 7:00 AM followed by the Sprint race starting promptly at 7:30 AM. All participants will receive chip-timed results upon completion of their respective courses, ensuring accurate finish times for all official finishers who will be awarded medals.
