Thornbury Turkey Trot 2026 returns to Thornbury, Ontario on Saturday, October 10th for its annual celebration of family and community spirit.
The event kicks off at the Beaver Valley Community Centre located at 81 Victoria Street in Thornbury. The race venue is nestled near a water tower landmark that can guide runners through the neighbourhood as they prepare for their journey. For over two decades, the Thornbury Turkey Trot has been celebrated by both seasoned athletes and families seeking to participate in a community event that supports Rotary's work locally. This year marks its 26th running, drawing thousands who gather to support charitable causes. The race offers four distances: the full 21K for serious runners, two versions of the 5K (one for adults and one for youth), and a free 1K Fun Run designed for kids aged ten and under.

Race morning registration will be held from 6:45 am to 8:00 am at the Beaver Valley Community Centre. Participants must bring their ID and payment confirmation if registering on site. Kids should wear comfortable shoes suitable for running short distances.
