Three Sisters Skyline

Nestled among Oregon's majestic Cascade Range, Three Sisters Skyline offers runners an unforgettable journey through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Central Oregon. This race features two distinct distances: a challenging 50K and a swift half marathon.
The 50K course is designed to showcase the beauty and ruggedness of the region. Starting with a gradual ascent that spans nearly ten miles, this section provides runners with unobstructed views of the Three Sisters peaks as they climb over 2300 feet before reaching aid station one just outside the Three Sisters Wilderness boundary. The route then descends through regenerating forest areas scorched by the 2012 fire and continues along single-track trails, winding past alpine meadows and a serene mountain stream. With nearly 4700 feet of descent to balance out over 3700 feet of climbing, this race offers both elevation gain and sweeping vistas throughout its entirety.
For those seeking speed on the trail, the half marathon presents an ideal opportunity with its net downhill profile. Clocking in at just under 1500 feet of descent against only 500 feet of ascent, runners will enjoy a fast-paced journey through over 85% single-track terrain. The race starts off strong and maintains momentum until reaching aid station one around the mid-point before heading into the finish line within Sisters.
Both events conclude in the charming mountain town of Sisters, providing participants with an idyllic setting to celebrate their accomplishment amidst stunning scenery and a supportive community atmosphere.
Registration policies for Three Sisters Skyline are strict. Transfers between runners are not permitted under any circumstances. For cancellations made more than 30 days before race day, registrants can opt for a 50% credit towards the same event in the following year. However, within 30 days of the race date, no refunds or credits will be issued regardless of individual circumstances.
In cases where Alpine Running must cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, permitting agency closures, wildfires, air quality concerns, or public health emergencies like COVID-19, refund policies do not apply.
