Timberneck Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk Fundraiser

Join us for the 6th ANNUAL Timberneck Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk Fundraiser, hosted by the Fairfield Foundation. 

Run or walk this scenic, flat, paved 3.1-mile loop course at Machicomoco State Park in Gloucester, Virginia. Water will be available at the start/finish line, as well as as the halfway point of the race route. Public restrooms will also be available near the race finish. 

All race proceeds help fund the restoration of the Timberneck House, the c.1793 Catlett family home overlooking the York River in Machicomoco State Park. HELP US CROSS THE RESTORATION FINISH LINE! Beautiful progress has been made and we are getting close to the end of the project! The Timberneck House will soon become a place for learning, lodging, and exploring Virginia's Middle Peninsula. REGISTRATIONS AFTER 11/9/26 CAN NOT BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT AT THE EVENT. Online registration only, no race day registration will be available. Registration cost includes the $5 state park entrance fee. All registrants will get a race t-shirt and swag bag. Medals will be awarded after the race for overall top finishers as well as top finishers in specific age categories. Registration fee required for participants 16 and older; children under 16 may race for free but will not get race shirt unless purchased separately (email anna@fairfieldfoundation.org to order). 

Kids Fun Run at 9 AM. Check-in and shirt pick-up will be from 8:15-9:15 am before the 5K race starts. 
Stick around after the race to watch the medal ceremony, eat snacks, and enjoy the beautiful setting of the Timberneck House and Machicomoco State Park!
