About the Event

The London Park Race Series 2026 culminates with its finale race set against the backdrop of vibrant summer evenings across London's lush parks. This orienteering spectacle invites runners to navigate through scenic landscapes, challenging them both mentally and physically.
Entry fees are £6 for senior British Orienteering members and juniors; £8 for non-members. Race participants can use either SIAC contactless or SI electronic punching systems. Those without their own SIAC cards can rent one for just £2 (free for juniors).
The race offers two distinct courses, each with its unique set of challenges:
- The Short course avoids any road crossings entirely.
- The Long course features timed out-road sections.
Start times range from 18:15 to 19:30. Participants must make their way to the designated start and finish lines, which are located approximately half a kilometre away from the Rose & Crown pub in different locations within each park venue.
Online entries remain open until just before race time—specifically up until 19:25 on the day of the event, pending map availability. It's crucial to arrive by 19:30 for your scheduled start time and ensure you complete your course before the closing time at 20:30.
All participants are required to return to The Rose & Crown pub to download their results after completing their run.
