TOUR ILE DE RÉ GRAVEL LA ROSE TREMIÈRE

Join us for the third edition of the Gravel Tour de l’Île de Ré, an unforgettable cycling adventure set to take place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026. This scenic ride spans approximately 90 kilometers and offers a unique blend of gravel paths, coastal roads, and marshland trails across this picturesque island.
Starting from the charming village of Bois-Plage-en-Ré in the north, participants will cycle southward through Rivedoux before returning to their starting point. The route winds its way past stunning vineyards, along serene coastlines dotted with oyster shacks and salt pans, showcasing the natural beauty that defines Île de Ré.
The event kicks off at 8:00 AM from the cooperative cellar of Bois-Plage-en-Ré where ample parking is available. Cyclists will be greeted by a warm welcome starting at 7:15 AM with coffee and pastries before heading out on their journey. A briefing session begins at 7:45 AM to ensure everyone is prepared for an enjoyable ride.
Registration costs €30, with an additional donation of €5 going towards cancer research efforts. The event accommodates up to 99 participants, each receiving a personalized number plate and GPX track file. Along the route between kilometers 48 and 49, cyclists will find hydration stations offering water, fruit, energy bars, and other snacks.
Upon completing their ride back at Bois-Plage-en-Ré, riders are treated to oysters and an apéritif as a celebratory gesture for their efforts. For those looking to indulge further in local cuisine, food trucks will be available on-site although this is not included in the registration fee.
This year’s event continues its tradition of supporting breast cancer awareness during October Rose month by raising funds through participant registrations. Cyclists are encouraged to make additional donations online if they wish to contribute more towards a worthy cause.
