On October 4th, the first edition of the Sud Meuse Tour à Vélo welcomes cyclists to Bar-le-Duc for an unforgettable day on two wheels. The event begins at the Office de Tourisme located at 7 Rue Jeanne d'Arc in Bar-le-Duc, with a departure window between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Participants have until 4:00 PM to complete their chosen circuit. The routes include two gravel options: one covering 120 kilometers of both route and gravel terrain, the other half as long but equally challenging. For those seeking a more leisurely ride, there are also 60-kilometer mixed surface courses available. Cyclists can enjoy refreshments at the start line with coffee and croissants before heading out on their adventure. Along the way, local supplies will be provided to keep riders fueled throughout their journey. Upon crossing the finish line, participants will receive a complimentary apéro and a pack designed specifically for this event. The Sud Meuse Tour à Vélo is open exclusively to individuals aged 18 years or older. While no official rankings are given, the day offers an excellent opportunity for cyclists of all backgrounds to explore scenic routes at their own pace. A GPX trace will be made available for download, so riders should come prepared with a navigation system.
