About the Event

On December 6, 2026, the second edition of the Trail de Finfarine invites runners to explore a magical world centered around the enchanting Bee Festival at La Folie de Finfarine. The day begins early with registration and bib collection starting at 7:30 AM, followed by the opening of food stands offering hot drinks, crepes, and sweets from 8:00 AM.
From 9:00 to 12:00 noon, participants will embark on their respective courses amidst a lively atmosphere filled with various activities. The race day concludes at 12:15 PM when the podium ceremony takes place for prize distribution.
The trail starts in front of La Folie de Finfarine park and leads runners through the charming village before heading towards the picturesque lake area, known for its rolling hills and stunning scenery. After traversing this scenic route, participants return to the festival grounds at La Folie de Finfarine, which will be exclusively reserved for race day festivities.
The 7 km course concludes with a final loop of 2.5 kilometers around the venue, while runners in the longer event complete an additional loop of 5 kilometers before finishing their 15 km journey. Refreshments are available at the finish line along with medals and diplomas for all participants, including young athletes.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy continuous entertainment from food stalls offering local delicacies and a refreshing bar service. This unique blend of sport and celebration makes Trail de Finfarine an unforgettable experience for runners and spectators alike.
The event promises to be a memorable journey through scenic landscapes and a vibrant festival setting, celebrating both athletic achievement and the charm of La Folie de Finfarine's annual Bee Festival traditions.
