Join us on Saturday, November 21st, for the 12th edition of Trail La Pont'Oise in Pont-Sainte-Maxence. The race offers an enchanting blend of daylight and semi-nocturnal ambiance, with courses tailored to runners of all skill levels. Nestled within a breathtaking natural setting along the Oise River, this event promises both challenge and enjoyment.
Trail enthusiasts will find routes that cater to various abilities, from seasoned athletes to beginners looking for their first taste of trail running. The terrain is diverse, featuring rolling hills and picturesque landscapes that showcase the region's beauty. For those seeking something different, a scenic hike awaits on a separate course designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.
Children are also welcome with special courses tailored just for them, ensuring there’s fun and excitement for all ages. Each event includes a mandatory headlamp requirement due to the semi-dark conditions as runners make their way through the evening hours.
The race starts and finishes at Gymnase La Salamandre on Rue du Stade, while children's events begin along Rue Charles Frigaux but also end back at Rue du Stade for family convenience. Participants are encouraged to bring all necessary gear including water bottles, snacks, and appropriate clothing as the event is self-sufficient.
After crossing the finish line, runners can enjoy a warm meal provided on site, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie among competitors. This makes Trail La Pont'Oise not just a race but also a social gathering where everyone shares in the spirit of adventure and community.
