About the Event

Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of Fouras and Saint-Laurent-de-la-Prée on September 12, 2026, as you embark on one of three trail running distances: a scenic 13 km route, an exhilarating 27 km trek (for both solo runners and duos), or a challenging 40 km adventure (also available for individual participants and teams). A leisurely walking path of the same distance is also offered.
The event offers breathtaking views along the Charente River, where you'll meander through pristine beaches and rugged coastlines. The trail winds its way to the historic Fort Enet, a unique destination accessible only during low tide, adding an element of adventure and timing to your journey.
As runners progress, they will traverse diverse terrains including lush marshlands teeming with local wildlife, showcasing the rich biodiversity that characterizes this area. Both Fouras and Saint-Laurent-de-la-Prée welcome participants with their charming villages nestled within the estuary of the Charente River – a designated Grand Site de France and Natura 2000 zone.
This year’s edition is not only about running but also about giving back to the community, as proceeds from your entry fee will be donated towards the reconstruction efforts of Fort Boyard. Every participant has the opportunity to contribute an additional €1 or more in support of this initiative, making it a race with both physical and social significance.
