Discover the authentic heart of French trail running in a stunning medieval village at the Trail de Mirmande, set for the weekend of 28-29 March 2026. Based in the classified "Most Beautiful Village of France," Mirmande in the Drôme, this event is a true celebration of the original, convivial spirit of the sport. The festival kicks off on Saturday with a 14km mountain race at 4:00 PM, followed by a 9km night run (La Noctambule) at 6:30 PM and a communal pasta party. Sunday brings the main challenges: the demanding 40km trail and a scenic 29km option, both starting from the village at 9:00 AM, with guided hikes (randos) also available. Organized by passionate local trail runners, the weekend radiates a warm, family-friendly atmosphere where camaraderie is as important as the effort. Experience breathtaking views of the Rhône Valley from the village's 12th-century church and explore the unique landscapes around Mirmande, Cliousclat, and Marsanne in this perfect early-season trail adventure.
