Trail des Aigles Gouvieux invites runners to explore the scenic landscapes around Toutevoie’s lakes and beyond. The race offers three distinct routes for participants, each with its own unique charm:
The "Découverte" route is a 9-kilometer loop that circles around the picturesque étangs of Toutevoie. This gentle course provides an ideal introduction to the area's natural beauty.
For those seeking more adventure, the 15-kilometer "Aventure" route includes 120 meters of elevation gain and takes runners on a tour through diverse terrain. Highlights include the Pont des Planches, historic sites like César’s camp, vineyards in Gouvieux, and the intriguing troglodyte village.
In addition to these competitive routes, there is also "La Godvicienne," a 9-kilometer non-timed walk that welcomes all who wish to enjoy the scenery at their own pace.
Participants can look forward to receiving a finisher's medal along with surprise gifts and complimentary beer upon crossing the line.
Past editions have received glowing reviews for their seamless organization, friendly atmosphere, high-quality facilities, and meticulous course marking. The event’s success is largely attributed to its dedicated volunteers who provide exceptional support throughout the race day.
Trail des Aigles Gouvieux also supports local wildlife conservation efforts through a partnership with Picardie Faune Sauvage, an association committed to preserving native fauna by rehabilitating injured wild animals.
