The Canitrails event offers two distances—9km with an elevation gain of over 200 meters and 15km with almost 400 meters of ascent—and is designed for runners accompanied by their dogs. For those seeking a more challenging route, the 23km trail race awaits, complete with nearly 700 meters of climbing. In addition to these races, there's also an option for combined distances: participants can run both the shorter and longer trails in succession. The event concludes at noon when kids take center stage with their own Kid’s Trail, featuring courses of 1.5km and 2.5km designed specifically for young runners. All events start and finish near Coursac's sports hall, weaving through well-marked circuits on local hiking paths. Each route is clearly signposted in different colors to help participants navigate the terrain easily. Along the way, runners will find hydration stations at strategic points: every 6 kilometers for shorter courses and additional support at both 6km and 13km marks for longer distances. A portion of each registration fee goes towards supporting charitable causes; one euro from every entry is donated to the Ligue Contre le Cancer Dordogne, while another euro supports local youth sports initiatives through the USEP COURS A QUOI? association.
