Trail des Vendanges 2026

On September 26, 2026, the picturesque town of Vacquiers will host an exhilarating day of running and walking events for participants of all ages. The centerpiece is a series of challenging trail races that wind through scenic countryside with varying elevations.
The Semi race offers runners aged 18 years or older as of January 1, 2009, a demanding course spanning 22.3 kilometers on rugged trails. With an elevation gain of 400 meters, this race is a test for serious athletes seeking to push their limits. Competitors will find water at the 10km mark and a full refreshment station at 14.5km before another water point at 17.5km.
For those who prefer a shorter yet still challenging course, the Medium event covers 16.7 kilometers on similar terrain with an elevation gain of 210 meters. This race is also designed for runners aged 18 years or older as of January 1, 2009 and includes water at 4.5km and a refreshment station at 9km.
The Discovery course caters to younger athletes born before January 1, 2011, offering a manageable distance of 10.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 120 meters. Like the other races, this event includes water points and refreshments strategically placed along the route.
Children are not left out as there’s also a Mini Loop for kids born between January 1, 2016, and December 31, 2019, featuring a fun walk or run of just 500 meters. For slightly older children aged between January 1, 2014, and December 31, 2015, the Child Loop offers an exciting one-kilometer course with a modest elevation gain of 30 meters.
Additionally, there is a special race for young adults born between January 1, 2010, and December 31, 2013. The Ado Course covers two kilometers with an elevation gain of 50 meters, providing both boys and girls the opportunity to compete in their own categories.
For those who prefer a leisurely day out, there is also a ten-and-a-half-kilometer hike available for all ages. This event follows part of the same trail as the Discovery race but at a more relaxed pace with an elevation gain of 100 meters and water points along the way.
The festivities kick off early in the morning with sign-in from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM, where participants can enjoy complimentary coffee. The day’s activities begin promptly at 9:00 AM with a group departure for the hike followed by individual starts as desired. At 9:45 AM, runners will gather on the church plateau in Vacquiers before setting off for their respective races.
Throughout the event, there are refreshment stations and water points to keep everyone hydrated and energized along the way. The day culminates with a celebratory apéritif at noon followed by awards presentations starting from 1:00 PM on the church plateau. Families can enjoy music and additional activities throughout the afternoon.
All participants will have access to restrooms, and children under the age of six are admitted free when accompanied by an adult guardian. This event promises a day filled with competition, camaraderie, and breathtaking scenery for runners and spectators alike.
