Trail du Coq

Returning to the scenic landscapes of Essonne for its second edition, the Trail du Coq offers runners an immersive experience through nature. Whether you are just starting out or have years of trail running under your belt, this race promises a warm and authentic atmosphere.
The event takes place on October 10, 2026, with registration opening on June 11, 2026. The venue for both the start and finish lines is at Salle Polyvalente Fernand Pelletier in Mondeville (Essonne), providing a central hub for participants.
Two race options cater to various levels of experience:
- Trail 22 km: This challenging course begins at 9:00 AM, featuring a vertical ascent of 430 meters. The route winds through forest paths and technical trails, offering an exhilarating journey perfect for those seeking both challenge and adventure.
- Trail 11 km: Starting at 10:00 AM, this shorter but dynamic course includes a climb of 215 meters. Ideal for newcomers or anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of Mondeville in a more relaxed setting, it offers an accessible yet engaging experience.
Race numbers can be picked up on-site at Salle Polyvalente Fernand Pelletier:
- Saturday October 7th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Sunday October 8th starting from 7:30 AM
On the day of the race, participants will have access to a baggage drop-off area and enjoy an enthusiastic welcome at the venue. The trail itself showcases Mondeville's unique natural features, including forests, rural paths, and rolling hills, designed with safety in mind while respecting environmental standards.
