On Sunday, October 4, 2026, join the third edition of the Trail du Galou Famille-Trail-Brunch at Ferme du Ptit Gallo. This eco-friendly race takes place amidst picturesque rural landscapes, offering a unique blend of running and family fun. The event kicks off with various trail runs, including a 9 km Woodland Run through Cranne Forest, a new 16 km Hors Taxe challenge for 2026, the popular 23 km Trail du Ptit Gallo, and two ultra-distances at 50 km and 60 km in unknown trail terrain. For families with children, participate in non-timed events such as Kids & Teens Trails (for kids and teens) or a family-friendly walk. Pre-inscription for the farm's childcare service is available exclusively on-site. Pre-registrations open from April 25 to May 10 at 8 PM via online platforms. Group registrations are encouraged; contact organizers before May 8 for more information, with email galoupaden@gmail.com. The race courses traverse the Val d’Ille-Aubigné area through unique trails in Saint-Germain-sur-Ille, Saint-Médard-sur-Ille, Melesse, Montreuil-le-Gast, Montreuil-sur-Ille, and Guipel. Approximately 80% of the route is private land, with access permitted only on race day. Trail du Galou prioritizes environmental sustainability by minimizing waste (no single-use plastic cups) and reducing its ecological footprint to a minimum along the course. Proceeds from each registration support Haroz Association, which works with children in various care facilities. A €1 donation is collected per participant. For those running 50 km or 60 km, you must complete the first 34 kilometers within five hours and finish all distances under nine hours to meet the barrier time requirements.
