MG Bouge is excited to present the inaugural edition of its trail race, set in the charming village of Montesquieu-Guittaut. Located within the Coteaux du Comminges region of Haute-Garonne, this small rural community boasts a population of just 170 residents and offers a quintessential glimpse into traditional French countryside life.
Montesquieu-Guittaut is characterized by its scattered homes, rustic farms, and rolling hills dotted with agricultural landscapes. The trail race aims to invigorate the local area while fostering connections among villagers and visitors alike. By showcasing the natural beauty of Montesquieu-Guittaut and introducing runners to its scenic pathways, the event seeks to highlight the rich rural heritage that defines this picturesque corner of France.
In addition to celebrating the village’s unique charm, the trail race is designed as a communal gathering where both locals and athletes can come together in a spirit of camaraderie. The organizers hope to create an atmosphere that encourages solidarity among participants while also supporting local initiatives.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to "L’avenir d'Anthony," an association dedicated to raising funds for adaptive equipment needed by Anthony, a teenager with multiple disabilities who calls Montesquieu-Guittaut home. This initiative aims not only to support Anthony but also to demonstrate tangible community care and solidarity.
