Celebrate a decade of dirt, sweat, and forest trails at the 10th Edition of the Trail et Marche des Violettes, returning to the woods on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Organized by the Étoile Athlétique Lovérienne, this anniversary edition invites you to leave the asphalt behind and dive into the heart of the forest. Whether you’re a seasoned ultra-runner or a casual hiker, the "Violettes" is famous for its steep climbs, muddy paths, and an electric atmosphere that rewards those who aren't afraid to get a little dirty. With limited spots available across all distances, this milestone event promises a raw and authentic trail experience in the wild.
The 2026 program offers three distinct trail tiers and two walking categories to suit every ambition. The flagship 42 km Trail (1000m D+) departs at 7:30 AM, challenging "the big league" with a demanding loop in semi-autonomy. For those seeking a serious climb, the 25 km Trail (600m D+) kicks off at 8:30 AM, while the 12 km Discovery Trail (230m D+) starts at 9:00 AM—perfect for those looking to swap the road for the forest floor. Walkers are also central to the celebration, with a 12 km Timed Nordic Walk (9:15 AM) integrated into the March’Eure Nordique 2025/2026 Challenge, and a non-timed 12 km Hike (9:20 AM) for those who prefer to soak in the scenery at their own pace.
Registration is open online until March 27, 2026, though waves are capped to ensure a high-quality trail environment (ranging from 240 to 420 places per race). In line with modern safety standards, all non-licensed adult participants must provide a Health Prevention Path (PPS) certificate via the official FFA platform. As an eco-conscious event, runners on the 42 km course must carry their own reusable containers for the two aid stations, while the shorter distances are run in total self-sufficiency.
