TRAIL EVASION en Pays de Lumbres à SENINGHEM

March 21, 2027 marks the 18th edition of Trail Evasion in Pays de Lumbres at Seninghem. This year's race offers runners and hikers four distinct courses: a challenging trail run covering 34 kilometers with an elevation gain between 600 to 800 meters, a slightly shorter yet still demanding course spanning 23 kilometers, and two additional routes of 15 and 10 kilometers. All participants will take off at the same time, starting promptly at 9:15 AM.
The event also features non-competitive options for those preferring to enjoy the scenic trails on foot or with Nordic walking poles over distances ranging from 23 kilometers down to a family-friendly 4-kilometer stroll. These courses wind through picturesque landscapes consisting of roughly 95% unpaved paths, pastures, and woodland areas, offering varied terrain that includes technical sections.
Participants can expect stunning views across the Audomarois and Boulonnais regions as they navigate new trails laid out each year for this event. The race organizers ensure participants are well-supported with breakfast upon arrival and generous aid stations along all routes. For those completing longer distances like the 34-kilometer run, there will be three aid stations; meanwhile, shorter courses receive two or one depending on their length.
To celebrate crossing the finish line, runners can look forward to a hearty bowl of homemade onion soup followed by the option for additional dining at local food stalls. The event is committed to supporting young people with disabilities through its charitable efforts, and all proceeds from Trail Evasion go directly towards assisting these individuals in need.
Registration closes on March 18th this year, so interested runners should secure their spots early online as there are limited numbers available for both the competitive races and non-competitive walks.
