On October 18, 2026, the vibrant city of Péronne hosts its annual Trail Urbain and Marche Solidaire for Octobre Rose. This heartwarming event combines fitness with solidarity as participants lace up their running shoes or walking boots to support breast cancer awareness. The trail run starts at 9:00 AM from Espace Mac Orlan, covering a scenic urban route of 12 kilometers through Péronne's historic streets and landmarks. The course is not timed nor ranked, allowing runners to enjoy the experience without pressure while contributing to a noble cause. For those who prefer walking or want to include their furry friends in the fun, two new categories have been added: an 8-kilometer Cani-Marche for dog lovers starting at 9:15 AM and a longer 12-kilometer Marche Solidaire kicking off at 9:45 AM. Both walks offer opportunities to explore Péronne's rich heritage, including its brocante shops, cinema, and dance conservatory. Participants will be treated to live music from Yann's Voices and the city’s Harmonie Orchestra, adding an extra layer of joy and community spirit to the event. The Orange Bleue Péronne team provides a dynamic warm-up session before the start, ensuring everyone is ready for their journey through the picturesque streets of Péronne. Registration fees are set at €5 online or in person at E Leclerc Péronne on specified dates leading up to the race day. Late registrants can pay an additional €2 if signing up on-site. Join this uplifting event and help make a difference by raising awareness for breast cancer research, prevention, and support. Don't miss out on sharing your experience with friends, family, and colleagues as you contribute to creating a chain of solidarity during Octobre Rose.
