Registration opens July 25 at 10:00, with early-bird gear bundles for registrations before August 5. The 65KM (500 runners, 63.98km, 3,087m+ gain, ITRA 3 points) starts 5:00 with a 17-hour cutoff; the 40KM (1,500 runners, 39.97km, 1,585m+ gain, ITRA 2 points) starts in two waves (5:30/6:00) with a 10.5-hour cutoff; the 20KM (1,500 runners, 19.75km, 726m+ gain, ITRA 1 point) starts in two waves (6:30/7:00) with a 5.5-hour cutoff. The course follows the historic route of Ming-dynasty travel writer Xu Xiake past the Huading summit, moss-covered stone steps, and streamside tea houses.
