Trail'Orientation

Trail'O invites runners and orienteers to challenge themselves on scenic courses that blend the excitement of trail running with the strategic thinking required for navigation. Participants can choose from three different race distances, each offering unique terrain and an engaging experience.
For seasoned athletes looking for a longer adventure, Trail’O 18 features a route spanning approximately 18 kilometers, dotted with 40 checkpoints to be found within a time limit of three hours. This challenging course is designed for those who are confident in their navigation skills and endurance on the trails.
The intermediate option, Trail'O 12, covers about 12 kilometers and includes 30 control points to discover over two and a half hours. Ideal for runners and orienteers with some experience under their belts, this race offers a balance of physical exertion and mental engagement.
For beginners or those looking for a more relaxed introduction to the sport, Trail'O 5 is a perfect choice. This shorter route stretches around 5 kilometers and features 25 checkpoints to find within two hours. It’s open to all runners and walkers who are just starting out in orienteering or trail running.
All participants must navigate independently without assistance from others during the race. Each course provides opportunities for individuals to work together as a team of two, fostering camaraderie while testing personal limits on both physical fitness and map reading skills.
It’s important that minors participate under adult supervision throughout the event. Licenses can be acquired directly through the Fédération Française de Course d'Orientation (FFCO) website before race day to ensure all participants are fully prepared for their chosen challenge.
