Trails & Tarmac Back Yard Ultra - Winter

The Limitless Trails BYU Series invites runners to push their limits against the dramatic backdrop of the Black Mountains near Crickhowell. This unique endurance challenge features a 4.2-mile loop that blends trail and tarmac equally, offering both fast stretches and a slight climb for variety.
Participants aim to complete at least 32 miles (the Ultra distance) to earn medals, with an added twist: the last person remaining after others have dropped out will be crowned the winner, taking home a special trophy. The race is supported by refreshments and hot food available starting from the fifth loop onward, ensuring runners stay fueled for their journey.
The event follows a strict format where each runner must start on the hour and complete their lap within that same hour to continue. This means punctuality at the starting corral is crucial; late arrivals will not be accommodated. Runners are expected to remain on course except during brief restroom breaks, with no personal assistance allowed between loops.
