This beloved race series features three distinct distances: a scenic 5km run for both runners and walkers, a challenging 10km trek through varied terrain, and a half marathon that doubles back on itself to provide an even more rigorous challenge. Participants begin their journey at Sugar Road before transitioning onto Russel Knoll Track. For the 10km race, competitors continue along Chris’s Run toward Trapp Cabin, navigating single-track paths like Growler and Tapline until they reach Lodge Spur for the finish line. Half marathoners traverse this route twice, ensuring a comprehensive exploration of the area's trails. The 5km runners take a different path from Old County Road, meeting up with Tapline and Lodge Spur to complete their course. These exclusive trails are typically off-limits to the public, making the race an exceptional opportunity for participants to explore nature’s beauty in solitude. The event not only celebrates athletic achievement but also raises funds for Green Mountain Adaptive Sports, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing lives through adaptive sports. Registration and late sign-ups begin at 7:30 am with all races starting promptly at 9:00 am.
