Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty and adventurous spirit of North Wales with our three-day mountain biking extravaganza from July 31 to August 2. This thrilling journey takes you across Eryri National Park, also known as Snowdonia, offering a unique blend of breathtaking landscapes and challenging terrain. The adventure begins on Friday at Machynlleth, where participants will pedal their way through picturesque trails en route to Dogellau, covering approximately 50 kilometers with over 1200 meters of ascent. The following day, riders tackle the second leg from Dogellau to Dolwyddelan, a similarly demanding course that stretches for about 55 kilometers and includes steep climbs and technical sections. The final stage on Sunday sees bikers traverse the last stretch from Dolwyddelan down to Conwy, concluding their epic journey through some of Wales' most stunning natural scenery. Each day's route is predominantly off-road, following a mix of blue-rated trails with occasional rough patches that require sturdy mountain bikes rather than gravel ones. Throughout this exhilarating ride, participants will enjoy the convenience of guided support and daily transport back to vehicles after each leg. Accommodation must be arranged independently in Dolgellau for Friday night and Betws y Coed for Saturday evening, where a variety of lodging options cater to all budgets. Evenings offer an opportunity to unwind with fellow riders over dinner at local eateries within the towns, fostering camaraderie among participants. To secure your spot on this unforgettable adventure, book early by paying a deposit that covers cab and minibus transport costs. The final payment will be around £75 due closer to the event start date. This immersive experience promises not only physical challenge but also an appreciation of Wales' awe-inspiring countryside.
