Experience the serene beauty of Lake Geneva and its surrounding countryside during this non-competitive, scenic ride. The route offers well-marked country roads that provide a tranquil setting for your journey through picturesque landscapes. Whether you choose to tackle 25, 50, 75 or 100 miles, each distance offers its own unique charm. The first 150 registrants will receive a commemorative water bottle as an added incentive—don’t miss out on this exclusive perk! The 25-mile route includes a rest stop at the 14-mile mark. Meanwhile, both the longer routes of 50, 75 and 100 miles are equipped with rest stops every 25 miles to ensure you stay hydrated and fueled. The epic 100-mile ride begins with a scenic loop around Geneva Lake before embarking on its second half, which closely follows the 75-mile route. An additional water stop at mile 90 ensures that riders have ample support as they push towards their finish line. GPS files for navigation are available through our event page, making it easier to follow your path. The ride commences from The Lake Geneva House of Music, located at N3241 County Rd H in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Parking is plentiful and free, providing a convenient starting point. SAG support vehicles will be on standby with priority given to riders facing emergencies such as illness or injury; mechanical issues like flat tires are not considered emergencies. SAG service concludes by 3:00 pm, so plan your route accordingly. Safety remains paramount for this ride. Obey all traffic laws and wear a helmet that complies with U.S. CPSC Safety Standards for Bicycle Helmets. Ride within your limits, carry proper identification, and ensure your bicycle is in good condition before the event. Basic tools, spare tubes, water bottles, and essential repair knowledge are recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the ride, ensuring everyone's safety on public roads shared with motorists. Local law enforcement may patrol to enforce traffic rules and maintain order. Bicycles should always be ridden single file for your own protection and that of others. Your participation contributes to supporting advocacy efforts for cyclists in Southeast Wisconsin. Join us for a memorable day filled with breathtaking scenery, friendly volunteers, and the camaraderie of fellow riders. Remember to start at The Lake Geneva House of Music by 7:00 am if you're riding the 100-mile route or no later than 8:00 am for all other distances. All routes open from 7:00 am with departure times as follows: 100 miles (7:00), 75 miles (7:30), 50 miles (8:00), and 25 miles (8:30). A farmers market will be available until 2 pm for post-ride refreshments. Enjoy the ride, embrace the scenery, and make lasting memories with Treadhead Cycling!
