About the Event

The Tri-Unity Challenge returns to Carrot River in Saskatchewan on August 8th for its 17th consecutive year, offering a multi-kilometer event that takes you through the beautiful Pasquia Golf Course.
On race morning, expect the course venue to be well-laid out with lush green spaces and well-maintained paths. The setting is serene, providing runners with a picturesque backdrop as they navigate the winding routes of the golf course. As participants gather at 7am, the temperature hovers around an average of 18.7°C, which feels like 18.7°C due to low humidity and gentle winds.
This event has been running for nearly two decades, supporting fitness and healthy living in our communities by raising funds that go directly towards walking trails, programs, and other initiatives benefiting Carrot River, Arborfield, and Zenon Park. The cause is deeply rooted in the local community's commitment to public health and open spaces.
The course venue offers a variety of terrains, including grassy paths and well-marked routes through Pasquia Golf Course. The 10km option covers approximately half the distance of the longer race while still providing participants with an engaging route that showcases the area’s natural beauty. Both the 21km and 5km options offer scenic views and a mix of terrain, making for a memorable run.
The event starts at 7am sharp from the Carrot River Town Hall parking lot on Main Street North. The course layout includes several notable features such as elevation changes that add to the challenge but also keep runners engaged throughout their journey. Aid stations are strategically placed along the route to ensure participants have access to water and other refreshments.
Weather conditions will be mild with an average temperature of 18.7°C, a minimum of 13.3°C, and a maximum of 24.1°C on race day. Registration for this event can be completed through the official website at https://raceroster.com/events/2026/114039/tri-unity-challenge with a fee of CA$50 per participant and a deadline to register by July 31st, 2026. Bib pickup will take place on August 7th from 4pm to 8pm at the Carrot River Town Hall.
Participants must bring their race bib along with any age verification if necessary for adults or proof of guardianship for youth participants under 15 years old. First-time runners should ensure they are dressed appropriately and have all required gear, including appropriate footwear and clothing suitable for a morning run in early August.
