On October 18, 2026, athletes and enthusiasts will gather for an exhilarating triathlon that combines swimming, cycling, and running. This unique event is designed to celebrate the joy of sport while offering participants an opportunity to challenge themselves in a friendly environment.
The competition starts with a refreshing swim in a 25-meter pool where individuals or teams can compete together. Each participant must estimate their own swimming time for a staggered start. Swimmers will cover either 750 meters individually, which translates to 15 lengths and back, or split the distance among team members. For pairs, one teammate swims 400 meters (8 laps) while the other completes 350 meters (7 laps). In trios, each member tackles a more manageable 250-meter stretch.
Following the swim is an invigorating cycle ride covering 18 kilometers over three loops of 6 kilometers each. Participants can organize their cycling efforts as they see fit to maximize efficiency and teamwork. The final leg features a 5.5-kilometer run, also divided into three segments of 1.85 kilometers.
The event welcomes athletes aged 16 and above, with registration fees set at €25 for individuals and €30 per team. Those who prefer the camaraderie but not individual competition can sign up on a special form to join existing teams seeking additional members.
Competitors will enjoy refreshments from a well-stocked buffet upon completion of their race. A variety of options are available, including burgers with fries or salad for €15 and tarte flambée for €10. The event also supports a good cause by donating proceeds to the Brain Foundation.
