Triangle Adventure

The Azores Triangle Adventure Trail race invites you to explore the captivating landscapes of three unique islands – Pico, São Jorge, and Faial. Spanning approximately 90 kilometers over three days, this trail running experience offers runners an immersive journey through diverse terrains and stunning natural scenery.
On day one, participants begin their adventure on Pico Island with a challenging stage that takes them from the rolling vineyards to the rugged mountains. The route winds through lush greenery before ascending into rocky terrain, offering panoramic views of the island's dramatic cliffs and pristine waters.
The second day welcomes runners to São Jorge Island for an unforgettable journey along its picturesque coastal trails known as fajãs. These narrow strips of land are nestled between steep cliffs and the ocean, providing a unique blend of sea vistas and lush vegetation. The trail meanders through these hidden gems, immersing participants in the island's serene beauty.
The final day concludes on Faial Island with an exhilarating run across its volcanic landscapes.
