About the Event

Join the Abbott Run, Walk & Roll 5K/1 Mile on Thursday, September 24 at Ross Park. This annual community event welcomes runners and walkers of all skill levels for an afternoon filled with camaraderie and support for a worthy cause.
The race kicks off promptly at 1:30 pm, followed by the start of the run/walk portion at 2:00 pm. Participants can choose between a challenging 5K or a more relaxed one-mile stroll through Ross Park's scenic pathways. The event is free to register but includes a suggested donation of $25, which goes directly towards Abbott Nutrition’s commitment to LifeCare Alliance—a vital organization addressing food insecurity among seniors in Columbus.
For those unable to participate physically but still wish to contribute, donations can be made via the registration link provided on the official website. Packet pickup will take place at an expo held in Conference Rooms A, B & C of Ross Park from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 23.
The expo offers more than just packet collection; it features vendors and HPC Trainers who provide useful tips for race preparation. Be sure to register early if you want to secure your preferred T-shirt size for the event.
