About the Event

Immerse yourself in an unparalleled running journey with Tunnel Vision Night & Dawn Runs. This unique out-and-back 5-mile course offers both seasoned athletes and beginners the chance to tackle challenges that blend accessibility with intrigue. At its heart lies Oxendon Tunnel, a breathtaking stretch of nearly half a kilometer. When night falls, this tunnel plunges runners into total darkness before revealing itself under mood lighting—highlighting the importance for each runner to bring their own headtorch as they navigate through it twice during the Night Run.
The Dawn Run presents an equally unforgettable scenario but with a twist: participants complete the journey just in time to witness sunrise. As dawn breaks, nature's vibrant light show unfolds over the landscape, offering runners stunning views at the halfway mark on their return leg back towards civilization and finish line.
Both events promise more than just running; they provide exhilarating experiences that engage your senses deeply. With Tunnel Vision Night & Dawn Runs, you’re treated to a combination of physical challenge and visual awe, making it one of the most memorable races in any runner's calendar.
Participants are reminded to be prepared with essential gear including headtorches for night navigation, reflective clothing during dark hours, proper footwear, hydration options, and other necessary items ensuring safety throughout their adventure.
