The Turkey Day Run’s mission is to raise money for local charities. The Turkey Day Run & Gobble Wobble is a premiere charity event that has a direct and meaningful impact in the lives of families throughout the Charleston metropolitan area. A family tradition for 48 years, The Turkey Day Race brings together the community in a safe and family fun atmosphere. The event welcomes all people to participate as an athlete, volunteer, or spectator. The Charleston Turkey Day Run is the 3rd largest Thanksgiving day 5k in the US!
Registration will remain open until the event sells out. Register early to secure your spot!
Please be sure to pickup your packet at the Expo the day before the race in Marion Square from 9am to 6pm. You may have someone else pickup your packet for you. You may also select to have your packet mailed to you for an additional $15. You must select this option during the registration process before November 1st.
Strollers are allowed! You must register for the Walkers with Strollers corral (orange). Sign up for this category during the registration process if you plan to walk with a stroller or pull behind wagon. This is the last corral in the start line. For the safety of all of our participants this will be enforced and a volunteer or officer will ask you to move back if you do enter a different corral.

Learn more about the host city, Charleston.
Charleston is the largest and oldest city in the state of South Carolina in the United States of America. Its historic downtown is on a peninsula formed by two rivers, the Ashley and the Cooper, flowing into the Atlantic, and protected from the open ocean by surrounding islands. Charleston was captured in the American Civil War without much property damage, so the historic part of town has buildings that are hundreds of years old. The current downtown skyline, with practically no tall buildings due to the city's height restriction ordinance, is dominated by church steeples and the stunning Arthur Ravenel cable-stay bridge over the Cooper River. The city is a major port on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. and a popular destination for domestic and international tourists.
