Ultra 4 Veterans is set to take place in Albania's breathtaking landscape in September 2026, offering runners and walkers an unforgettable adventure through the Albanian Mountains. This unique event features three distance options: a grueling two-day 100km trek, a challenging one-day 50km route, and a more manageable yet equally scenic single-day 25km course. Participants will be in the company of Foxy (SAS: Who Dares Wins) and Woody (BBC: Danny Boy), renowned veterans who bring their rich military experience to this charitable endeavor. The event is designed for up to 250 people, ensuring a close-knit community atmosphere as runners traverse rugged terrain and stunning vistas. The race begins in the heart of Albania's mountainous region before winding down towards the Ionian Sea, where participants will finish surrounded by like-minded individuals who share their commitment to military charity work. The registration fee starts at £400 (with instalment options available), and each participant must raise a minimum of £800 for four carefully selected military charities. Included in your entry are all ground transfers from Tirana International Airport, accommodation during the event, camping facilities specifically for those undertaking the 100km route, medical support along the way, therapy services to aid recovery, fully marked courses with checkpoints, and a commemorative race medal upon completion. Participants must book their own flights arriving by 12:00 on September 4th and departing after 15:00 on September 7th. Once registered, participants will receive an automatic fundraising page via Givestar, which they are required to use for the event's charitable contributions. Detailed information about example flight options is available on the official website to assist with travel arrangements. Ultra 4 Veterans promises not only a physical challenge but also a meaningful way to support those who have served their country and continue to do so through charity work. Join this unique journey in Albania, where every step taken contributes to making a difference.
