About the Event

Ultra Tequila takes place on August 21–22, 2026, starting from the historic center of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. This trail running event transports runners through agave fields, oak forests, and volcanic rock paths, culminating at the crater of the Tequila Volcano (2,845 meters above sea level). Multiple distances are available, from beginner-friendly to volcano summit challenges.

Starts in historic center of Tequila (1,200 m elevation).
Summits Tequila Volcano crater (2,845 m).
Oak forest trails and crater rim segment with view of "La Tetilla."
Fast descent through blue agave fields, volcanic rock, and obsidian paths.
Finish line in Pueblo Mágico de Tequila.
