Ultra Trail de la baie du Kernic

Experience the breathtaking Ultra Trail de la Baie du Kernic on October 4, 2026. This beloved race returns for its 14th edition in Plouescat, Finistère, offering runners an unforgettable trail running adventure through nature's stunning landscapes.
The event is organized by Team Trail Couleur Ambiance and is not just a run; it’s also a cause-driven celebration. For each registration, €1 will be donated to Rose et Or, a charity dedicated to the fight against cancer.
Runners can choose between two challenging routes: a 65 km trail (7 am start at Sibiril with an elevation of approximately 1200 meters) or a shorter 25 km option starting at 9 am. The 25 km route features a climb of about 690 meters, while the 15 km and 9 km routes begin their ascents around 310 meters and 150 meters respectively.
The trail winds through the technical forest paths of Kerzéan before leading runners along the picturesque coastal path. The 65 km route promises a true test of endurance with its demanding terrain, making it perfect for seasoned ultra-runners seeking an authentic challenge in nature's embrace.
Along your journey, you'll find well-stocked aid stations at key points: one each at the 9 km and 15 km marks, two stops at the 25 km point, and four along the full 65 km route. These stations ensure that runners maintain their energy levels throughout the race.
For those who prefer a more relaxed approach, shuttle services are available for an additional €7. Participants should consider bringing enough supplies to sustain them through the event as autonomy is highly recommended.
Upon completion of your run, you will cross the finish line at Plouescat's multi-purpose sports hall. Top 3 male and female runners in each category will receive special prizes, adding a competitive edge to this already thrilling race experience.
