This grueling course features 12 climbs, with four having served as venues for past National Hill Climb Championships, including the highly anticipated Bank Road in Matlock, which will host the upcoming 2026 championships.
Whether you're aiming to push your training boundaries or simply looking for a rigorous fitness test, this event offers an exhilarating challenge. The route is meticulously marked with clear signage and includes essential amenities such as water/snack stations along the way. Once you've crossed the finish line, enjoy a well-deserved post-ride barbecue complete with vegetarian and vegan options, plus gluten-free choices to cater to all dietary needs.
Participants can also look forward to pre-event refreshments like bacon or sausage cobs available before hitting the road. The event hub offers ample parking space, secure kit storage facilities, and restroom access. Entry is available on the day for £40, with both cash and card payment options accepted.
