This unique event invites runners to explore the town's charming streets, winding alleys, steep staircases, and scenic pathways under a blanket of stars. The day kicks off at 5:30 PM with "Graines de Champions," designed for young athletes born in or after 2018, covering just one kilometer. At 5:50 PM, the "Fusées" race begins for slightly older participants (born between 2016 and 2017), featuring a course of 1.3 kilometers. For families looking to enjoy an evening together, the Familiale event starts at 6:15 PM with a three-kilometer run suitable for all ages. At 7:00 PM, competitive runners can take on "Le 6 km," which has been part of the Urban Trail Houdan since its inception in 2011. The highlight of the evening is undoubtedly the Raidsica race at 7:50 PM, a challenging eleven-kilometer trek that winds through some of Houdan's most picturesque routes. This event also includes an optional marche nordique for those who prefer to walk or hike while enjoying nature and community spirit. All races start and finish at the Houdan stadium, which offers convenient facilities such as changing rooms, toilets, showers, hydration stations, and covered podiums where participants can collect their awards after crossing the finish line. For runners participating in either the 6 km or 11 km events, portable lighting is mandatory for safety. Registration fees are €18 for the eleven-kilometer race, €14 for the six-kilometer event, and €8 for all other races. Early bird discounts apply until January 12; thereafter, a surcharge of €2 will be added to each entry fee. There is no on-site registration allowed. Participants should note that there are strict participant limits: 250 runners for the eleven-kilometer race (divided between runners and walkers), 250 for the six kilometers, 125 for the three kilometers, and 100 each for the one kilometer and 1.3 kilometer races. Parking is available at the stadium or nearby locations such as bus parking near Clos de l'Ecu (400 meters from the gymnasium) or along Avenue de la République and around the train station, which are free on Sundays but may require a short walk to reach the event venue. Proceeds from this race will support a solidarity trip for third-grade students at Houdan's Edsica College in Senegal.
