V PUJADA A LA SERRETA - CARMELITES VEDRUNA

The V Pujada Serreta Vedruna is set to captivate runners and hikers alike with its challenging yet rewarding course through the scenic landscapes of Alcoy. This annual race, steeped in tradition and community spirit, offers a unique blend of athletic challenge and cultural immersion.
Participants can pick up their bibs at Porteria de entrada al Colegio Carmelitas on Thursday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM or Friday from the same hours for those unable to make it earlier. On Saturday morning, runners have one last opportunity to collect their race materials between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM.
The main event kicks off at 9:00 AM sharp with a trail run that winds through rugged terrain, demanding both endurance and agility from competitors. Alongside the main race, there is also an option for marcha nórdica enthusiasts to traverse similar trails but on skis or poles adapted for hiking. A family-friendly walk completes the offerings, inviting all ages to enjoy the scenic route at a more leisurely pace.
Awards will be presented around 11:15 AM in recognition of participants' achievements across various categories. This ceremony is followed by an engaging program featuring children's races starting at noon, which continue until each age group has had its turn on the track.
