The half marathon route follows the scenic Dalham Kiln path, a hilly yet manageable terrain with an elevation gain of 191 meters over its looped course. For runners opting for shorter distances like the 5k or 10k, they will experience the Denham Flats Route, known as one of the flattest routes out from Suffolk Running Centre. The Dalham Kiln route winds through quiet lanes and rural villages before reaching a turnaround point at around 5.2 km for those participating in shorter events. This creates an atmosphere that encourages social interaction among runners who will be retracing their steps back to the start line, making it a friendly and supportive environment. For longer distance participants aiming for full or ultra-marathon achievements, the race offers continuous loops of the challenging yet rewarding Dalham Kiln route, with aid stations every 10k providing essential hydration and snacks.
