Vancouver SUP Challenge 2026

Experience the thrill of stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and prone racing along Vancouver's stunning ocean beaches during the Vancouver SUP Challenge. This exciting day features four distinct races, each offering unique challenges on the water.
The first race kicks off at 11 AM with a fast-paced 5 km distance event for both SUP and prone paddlers using boards up to 14 feet in length. Participants can compete individually or team up later for the relay challenge. The second race takes place at 1 PM, inviting competitors to navigate a technical 2 km course designed specifically for stand-up paddleboards.
At 2:30 PM, adrenaline seekers will dive into a sprint-style prone paddling event over a distance of just one kilometer. This intense competition features two board categories – 12-foot and 10'6-inch boards – ensuring there's something exhilarating for all skill levels.
The day culminates with the LOGBALL World Championships at 3:30 PM, where teams battle it out in this unique water sport combining elements of rugby and soccer. All participants are automatically entered into both the relay race and the LOGBALL tournament as part of their $30 entry fee for one or more events.
The Vancouver SUP Challenge not only tests your paddling prowess but also rewards top performers with overall champion titles across men's, women's, and junior (18 years old and under) categories. These accolades are awarded based on combined performance in the 5 km distance race and the 2 km course event.
