The Vedder Mountain Challenge will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, and Sunday, May 31, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM PDT each day in Cultus Lake, BC, Canada. Saturday features trail runs of 15 km and 35 km. Sunday is a multisport day (SUP – Ride – Run) for solo participants or teams of three.

All participants must follow event rules as provided by the organizer. Course maps are available on Strava and the event website. The 15 km and 35 km trail runs take place on Vedder Mountain. The multisport relay has a cap of 50 teams (150 participants). A valid student card is required on race day for student pricing.
Course information: 15 km trail run with 650 m ascent and 650 m descent; 35 km trail run with 1900 m ascent and 1900 m descent. Multisport day consists of stand-up paddleboard (SUP), cycling (Ride), and running (Run), done individually or as a three-person relay.
The Vedder Mountain Challenge combines trail running and multisport racing over two days in the Cultus Lake area, offering challenging mountain terrain for solo and team participants while supporting local trails through the Vedder Mountain Trails Association.

Cultus Lake is a lake, associated community and provincial park in the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, Canada. It is the source of the Sweltzer River. Cultus Lake is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) south of the Chilliwack River, near the city of Chilliwack and approximately 80 kilometres (50 mi) east of Vancouver. In 1950, Cultus Lake became a provincial park of British Columbia. Cultus Lake covers an area of 656 hectares, evenly on either side of the lake. At one time the lake had a sawmill and booming ground until it became a provincial park in the 1950s.
