The Carnival Chase offers runners of all ages and abilities an invigorating experience through the scenic Warminster Town Park. This picturesque run starts and finishes by the charming boating lake, providing a serene backdrop for participants to enjoy as they traverse country lanes, tracks, and trails. The route is accessible with no stiles but includes a few kissing gates along the way.
This event supports the annual Warminster Carnival, adding an extra layer of community spirit and excitement to your run. Whether you're tackling the 10K distance or taking part in the family-friendly 3K or wheelchair/buggy fun run, there are prizes up for grabs across multiple categories including age groups and local residents.
- Prizes: Medals will be awarded to all finishers with special recognition given to top male and female runners in each category. Additionally, there's a focus on youth participation through awards for boys and girls aged 10 and under as well as those between 11-16 years old.

The event takes place at Warminster Town Park (BA12 9NT) where you'll find toilets available along with refreshments to purchase. For the longer distances, there are two water stations strategically placed on the 10K route.
Parking is plentiful in nearby public car parks around Warminster; however, competitors and spectators are encouraged not to use Morrisons' parking lot out of courtesy towards other community members and race participants alike.
Registration opens at 9:00 AM sharp with a cut-off time for entries by August 25th, 2026. Race day registration is unavailable so make sure you secure your spot early! A short safety briefing precedes each start time:
- 10K: Starts promptly at 10:30 AM.
- 3K: Begins at 10:45 AM.
- Family Fun Run (1.2K): Kicks off at 10:50 AM.
Compliance with marshals' instructions is crucial for everyone’s safety, and headphones or bone conduction devices are strictly prohibited during the race to ensure clear communication among participants.
Entrance fees vary based on age group:
- 10K: £22.00 (Affiliated), £24.00 (Unattached) – Open to runners aged 16+.
- 3K: £12.00 (Affiliated), £14.00 (Unattached) – All ages welcome but under 10s must be accompanied by an adult unless they are regular racers and have parental approval.
- Family Fun Run (Wheelchair/Buggy): Free for wheelchairs and buggies, with a nominal fee of £7.00 per participant.
On race day, collect your bib at the registration area between 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM where you'll receive instructions on securing it properly using safety pins for visibility during the finish line crossing.
