Veterans Suicide Awareness

Join the community for the Third Annual Veteran Suicide Awareness Run/Walk on Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Umatilla Marina Nature Trails. This heartfelt event aims to raise awareness about veteran suicide and support local veterans and their families through a series of engaging routes: a fun 1-mile walk/run, a scenic 5K run, and an inspiring 10K race.
Participants will embark on picturesque trails around the marina, offering breathtaking views and serene surroundings. The event encourages runners to choose a distance that suits their fitness level while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Registration opens at 8:00 AM for early birds, with all distances starting promptly at 9:00 AM. Water stations will be strategically placed along the routes and refreshments await you at the finish line.
Awards will be presented to top finishers in each category, while every participant receives a custom dog tag as a symbol of honor and remembrance for those who have served our nation with distinction.
Volunteers are also welcome to join us in setting up the event, assisting during registration, or supporting runners along the course.
